Beginning 2025-26 the district shifted K-5 services to Classroom-Based Services (CBS) delivered by general-ed teachers in students' neighborhood schools, replacing the former K5HC weekly 30-minute pull-outs. Full-Time Quest (elementary self-contained) and Middle School Quest continue without service-model changes. The earlier Part-Time Quest (POQ) pull-out was discontinued after 2024-25; existing 2nd-5th POQ students transitioned to Full-Time Quest in fall 2025.

But no address gets you in. Entry is a district lottery drawn in 5th grade, and a policy change effective 2026-27 quietly resets the board for anyone hoping to enter at 9th grade. The families this school fits want a seven-year cohort, integrated humanities blocks, and a community that expects 30 volunteer hours a year, and they can live without school sports, lockers, or elective breadth. If your child's identity runs through athletics or à-la-carte course shopping, the trade-offs are structural, not incidental.
